Diet Evaluation of Healthy Diet Posters

Standards: NJCCS 2.1. Wellness

Objectives:

  • The students will be able to analyze and do diet evaluation.
  • The students will be able to evaluate and make adjustments to each other’s diets.

Materials:

  • Finished poster projects.

Skills:

  • Ability to evaluate and make adjustments to diets.

Procedure:

Introductory Activity: None.

Developmental Activity: Analyzing and evaluating students’ poster projects.

Concluding Activity: How can you create a healthy diet?What do you have to follow in order to create a healthy diet?What goes hand in hand together with a healthy diet?What are the consequences of someone not eating healthy and not exercising?

Assessment:

For homework, student will make needed adjustments to their posters.
